  1. The mosaic explains it in completeness. It shows everyone should each other save everything that will help the earth. It looks like too me as if the sun is coming down on the earth and giving it a brighter life and helping everything grow that needs sunlight and everything that needs th sun too survive.
The things i like about this mosaic is that the colors of the sun are very bright and th color of the earth made it very easy too tell what it is. This picture to me make me realize how dependent we are of the sun, because if we didn’t have they sun then we wouldn’t be doing what we are today. It’s the little things that we do not pay attention to which in reality they are the ones that need the most attention like saving reusable sources is a big thing and this mosaic really shows us that.
The last most important thing i see in this picture is the yellow and pink background that really catches my eye when i just glance at the mosaic. It looks like as if there is a story behind the mosaic but i cant quite figure it out it’s almost like as if it keeps you wondering, which is very smart cause it keeps their minds on the mosaic. The mosaic is a all around great mosaic.

  3. when making a mosaic you have steps to take. first step is to think of an idea think about things you like and pick one to make your art of. next you have to draw out your idea on plack paper in white chalk.
step two, you now need to start picking out the colors you want your masic to be, then you find the paper and cut them into small random shapes that you will use on your art. next you start gluing the shapes on like a puzzle spread a thin film of glue on the area that you are working and fit the peices together, dont forget to leave a space between each peice.
once you have completed your art you just have one thing left to do. stand back and admire your masterpeice. it is very time consuming to make a mosaic and you should be proud of yourself for completing this project.

  4. I like the colors and the textures,i like it because it looks like a pyramid and the colors blend in. The art structure really brings out the colorful artwork. When i drew my drawing i didn’t think about doing it like this, i tried doing it different like gathering alot of different collors and makin like 2 towers but i didnt come out the way i wanted to so i didn’t really like it. But looking at all these mosaics it makes me want to start all over and doing a better job.

  5. This mosaic stood out for me because of its bright colors. I like how the author of this artistic piece of work used the colors in the sun to really make it stand out. Everyone always colors the sun yellow when in fact the sun is more of an orange/redish color. Our sun has some hot spots and some “not so hot” spots and the author of this did a great job of showing this by using different shades of red and orange.

The other thing that draws my attention in this art work is the earth. Earth is filled with different colors such as green, blue, and white and the author did a good job using these colors to make our planet. I don’t know what country they tried to put on there but it looks really good from my prospective. Most of the earth in this mosaic is filled with water and that’s how out planet is so I really liked that too.

The last thing that stands out in this picture is the yellow and pink colors in the background. I think the yellow is suppose to be the rays of the sun giving sunlight to earth and other places of the world. The pink in the background really brings everything together, making this a beautiful example of what Nimitz are students are capable of doing. Personally, I wouldn’t have thought of using pink for the background, but this color made it look very nice and completed a great mosaic.

  6. Well making a mosaic is a essy process. First u think about wat you want to do, you do a musaic of watever you want. Then you get a black sheet of paper . and with shalk you draw your drawing.
Then when you got the drawingdone. Get diffrent pieses of color and cut them up in little pieses. Then you put glue on the paper and glue them in.
the pieses can be any sice. they have too be glue in 3 cm apart to the other piese. When you glue all the pieses of color paper your done and you got a mosaic.

  7. The things i like about this mosaic are the colors of the sun and the earth. They colors really catch my attention about how they combine together to show appreciation for earth day.
The yellow and pink colors do represent Ultra V Rays and people need to know that we need to reduce those rays to help our planet healthy but most people don’t get is how or why should they.
People don’t care about the earth because they think that in there life time its not have a effect on them which is wrong it effects everyone in many ways. The heat makes our life more difficult each year because it keeps increasing and its bad for Our Planet.People need to stop using Gasoline, Nuclear power plants, etc. If we dont change quickly we wont be living in a safe environment anymore like we have for all these Years. So please save our planet to keep it beautiful.

  8. My favorite part about this mosaic is that the colors make it stand out and catch your eye. It enoforces the idea that the Earth is a wonderful place and we need to help maintain it well. The fact that the sun is shining down on the Earth says that it’s what gives life to everything on here. I also like the way the pieces were put together, as if to make it pop out more.
It looks like the artist thought out carefully the story he/she wanted to present behind the piece. They clearly made their point and showed feeling and emotion through it. The beams of sunlight are what stand out the most, which to me is the center of the piece. The whole artwork reflects on the fact that the sun is giving light to Earth and everything on it.
Another thing I liked was the pink sky because you don’t really see the sky that color unless it’s sunset or sunrise. That tells me that the sun is helping Earth either when it is barely beginning or when it’s coming to and end. Over all the artwork is a portrayal of hope and happiness that just makes your day.

  11. The video was a very great video. it was a really good way to show how to save and and help the environment and how important earth day is. because we all live here and we need to take care of it so it can be here a lot longer. the girl in the video is very inspiring on how she was able to do this video and help out many other people from this school maybe even others from others schools.
people need to understand that without our earth here we would not excist. art can be a way to express that feeling. music or any other form of art that is good for you. need to get the messege out there to other people. a simple way would be like the mosaics just one simple little picture like those can help people understand how our earth is very amazing.
the little things that those pictures show us help others see how important those things are even when they didnt see them at first. the mosaics were inspiring as well on that subject. as well because it was students how created them. and we students are the future and are mainly responsible for our earth.
if we dont start from now to help out our earth by making little things and little movements like the mosaics work to introduce the people to the wonderful earth and how to try to save it and help it to be here a while longer we wont have it anymore.

  12. Such a great video that shows the importance of saving the earth. The mosaic shows how important Earth is to us and how we need to preserve our planet. The sun is brightly shinging on the Earth in the mosaic as if its not just giving the Earth light, but giving the Earth hope for brighter tomorrow. 😀
