We Are What We Eat

You may agree or disagree with the title of this post, but the role of nutrition in individual lives and on a global scale is being discussed widely both privately and in the media. Is ketchup a vegetable? Does the choice of food affect your learning? Is a balanced diet on a small budget possible?  What can you learn about world cultures exploring ethnic restaurants? 

Today’s reading selections are all about different aspects of food and nutrition. For the culminating activity you will read a short selection. First, read the story. As you read, pay attention how the author supports his claim. Second, reread it and circle signal (transition) words. Third, read the question: Why is “Know What’s Good for You” a good title for this selection? Plan and write your answer as a blog comment and support it with evidence from the selection.   1. “Know what’s good for you” is a good title for this selection because that section gives you three tips
    about healthy nutrition. The author tells us to educate ourselves, don’t act on impulse, don’t be afraid to tray new foods. This section tell that we have so many options to have a good healthy diet. And no one have no excuse for poor nutrition choices.

  2. The title describe the story. the story talks about good food for your health. It’s trying to educate you to get exultant nutrition to have a healthy body. By learning more about your food, like trying a new food and take responsibility. To have a strong physical body.

  3. “ Know What’s Good For You” is a excellent tittle, because it is talking about what you can choose for benefits on having a good health. There is a lot of options you can choose to eat healthy. You have to have a reasonable balance on your diet to be in good shape. Nutrition is important and helpful to be physically fit on your body.
