English – ESL at NHS
I am happy to announce the opening of the blogosphere extension of classroom 219 at Nimitz High School. This is a virtual meeting place for English learners. Interaction with my classes during the first 2 weeks of school made me realize that the huge intellectual potential, creative energy, passion for technology and business attitude of the students could be used to create an exciting on-line content. Earth day.
Every year on April the 22nd, the world celebrates the Earth Day. In our school, many students and teachers wear green to show that they care about our planet. It all looks good on the surface. But we seldom act responsibly. People use natural resources without thinking about consequences. We need more than words and symbols.
I think that we can keep the earth clean if the people help the clean the earth is important to the nature is very important for all people that living in the earth and the people celebrates the earth day because is important to school.
Today is the earth day and we celebrate this because is very important to us save our planet
where the humans live. And a way that you can help your planet is don’t trow trash and anywhere,
and don’t cut trees that is the most important part to save our planet. and another thing that we can do to save the planet is plant many trees to replace the another trees that are already cut. we can save our planet let do now because later can be so late. Our son’s need a better life let do that easy for them .

We can use natural resources more responsibly by trying to take care of our water, because water is an important resource in this world; in order to do this we can take quicker showers, every time that we use a faucet we’ve to make sure that we close the faucet when we finish with it, also we can try to wash our cars with less water and don’t use a hose to wash it ,because that way you are spending a lot of water.
Another way to take care of our detrimental actions is to try to be more conscious with our earth; we can recycle different kind of stuff like paper and plastic; every time that you go to buy groceries you can bring your groceries in recycling bags, this way you are saving the planet a big problem. An option that you can apply is to plant plants in your house garden, so your plants can produce clean air for our atmosphere.
Think about your future, wait a minute think about our children future, we’ve to worried about it, because if we don’t take care of our earth nobody else is going to do it. Maybe you can think” But I would not make the difference”, that’s a huge mistake, because if every single person in the world do a little thing for our environment we can do a big difference and have a beauty and pleasant place to live and not just for us though, also for our future generations.
Today is the “EARTH DAY”
People would to contribute to save the world by planting more trees, recycling, parents should teach their children how to save the world because their children will grow up and they will put their little part to save the world,. If you don’t put your part to save the world, the world will get destroyed by a lot of people that doesn’t care about the environment, people should throw the trash in the trash can.
Today the world celebrates the“heart day”, the heart day is a day wen people takes care of the world ting that they should do every day. To help to do this people can walk to the store instead of using the car. You can help to by using the public transportation or washing your car wit little water. There are many ways to do this “you can help to.”
-what I can do to save the world, planting more trees, recycle paper, separate the trash for plastic, paper,and other trash.
-what I can do to protect the environment is to use less sprays, do not throw trash on the streets.
